Which Quality Inspection Services Best Suits Your Needs?

Before introducing kinds of quality inspection, let's have a brief look inspection services:

Quality inspection services are done to check the quality and quantity of the products while their production in the factory during a different time like before the production, during the production, and before shipment. So, all these kinds of inspections are done to make sure whether the quality and the quantity of the product are fine so that it could be shipped.

We will introduce you to the different four types of services. And each one plays a different but crucial role in the production process. These all kinds of inspection services help the importer buy in China and other low-cost Asian countries.

The various options available to the buyer in a physical manner are tried to be summarized here.

The four types of quality inspection services

All quality control inspection services are not adapted to the same situation:

Pre-shipment Inspection

In pre-shipment inspection, the suggestion is given to the company which kind of raw material should be used. It usually happens that the factories lower the price of their products by using the low standard of material, resulting in a harmful way.

The processes followed as a production starts are also looked after by pre-production inspection. Let's look towards the example when Chinese factories often cut corners and do not respect the blueprints of buyers (e.g. patterns for cutting fabric are received from the buyer). They are also modified to make the process easier and faster).

During production inspection

A "DUPRO" which means during production inspection plays a role to know about the quality of the product very early in the production process. This is considered the most beneficial and the most under-rated tool in terms of the importers who are often known for relying on the final inspection.

And this is often seen during inspection many products come out of the line because of some fault found there. And if they find any kind of quality issue, then the initiative is taken to rework on it which will also help in the rest of the job. And this action helps in the future to improve the production process so that there would be no fault ever.

Final random inspection

The final step that is final random inspection, also known as the pre-shipment inspection, is the most common QC check type. It is done when the production is complete and ready to ship to make sure whether the products are in the right quantity or not. So it can also be a real random inspection (this's not exactly the case if the quality of the product is checked earlier) and suppliers cannot play games.

This step is really helpful for the buyers and puts little pressure on the suppliers. It just deals with the quantity of the products instead of focusing on the early issues. So, it is suggested that the focus should be on the DUPRO so that the issues could be avoided at the last moment.

Container loading inspection

Just like pre-production inspection, this container loading inspection is sometimes used. But in some cases, it can be really useful.

This kind of inspection is held in special cases like when the buyer has a precise loading plan and wants it to be handled carefully. Let's suppose the case where cartons are very delicate is needed to be kept on the top instead of the bottom of the many products so that it might not break if the packaging quality is not conventional (e.g. some garments hung on bars, with no carton protection).

It ensures that the accurate products are shipped out in the proper quantity when your importer places no trust in the supplier or when a plethora of suppliers brings their products for consolidation.

The four kinds of inspection are just needed for the most important product. Otherwise, only two kinds of inspection are used for the products, depending on the buyer's risks.

Bottom line:

So, these quality inspection in China are applying for consumer goods, which involves little customization. Different types of products need different kinds of inspection according to their requirement. And the need for paying much more attention is during development and early production.
