3d Drawing Easy For Beginners With Step by Step

Workshops for beginners

Knowing the theory, you can try to create your 3D drawings on paper. For starters, the best practice is to repeat the work of other people. Master's courses will help you understand the logic of building three-dimensional images.

3d hand

To draw a voluminous hand, the "ruler" technique is used. This method is ideal for initial attempts at creating 3D illusions on paper.

What you need:

1.            Circle the outline of your palm with your fingers apart.

2.            Upload a page like a student's notebook.

3.            To the right and left of the border, leave the straight lines.

4.            "Above" the hand, bend the lines away from you, repeating the convex shape of the back of the palm and fingers.

5.            Bring all the lines better, color the resulting "lines" in contrast.

6.            If you want, you can add a little shadow on one side.

When you look at such an image, it looks like the sheet is above the bulky arm, wrapping it like a thin fabric.

3d heart

A ruler is also useful for depicting a volumetric heart.

Step by step:

1.            Outline the heart in the center.

2.            Flatten the entire sheet, excluding the outlines of the center image.

3.            To bend the lines around the image, creating the illusion of "indentation".

4.            Bring brighter lines, if you want, you can color the "lines".

5.            Apply shadows, emphasizing the volume of the heart and its depth.

If everything is done correctly, the model will be perceived as if a voluminous heart is on a pillow with soft stripes.

3d hole in the paper

The contrast stripes will make the hole was drawn on the page real. You will need a pencil and a ruler because all the lines of the image are straight. Draw a regular-shaped rectangle closer to the center of the sheet. If you position the next "hole" with your back to the edge of the canvas, the effect will be less visible.

We draw:

1.            Connect the lower-left right corner of the figure to the upper right.

2.            Mark the lines parallel to the two adjacent sides of the rectangle with the mesh along the desired diagonal. It turned out to be a large rectangle, with a few small ones, as if nestled in each other.

3.            Move the brighter secondary diagonal. The image looks like the inside corner of an open, striped box.

4.            Fill stripes with one, starting with the smallest area in the corner of the figure.

5.            Decide where the light source will be. Apply a shadow of light-on-light streaks from the mesh angle to the edge of the image, reducing the length of darkness from "bottom" to "top".

6.            Feather of shadows. The drawing is ready.

3d hole in the ground

As always, start by sketching a future hole. The more elbows, the more interesting the result.

We draw:

1.            The contour must be extended because the angle of perception of the illusion is about 30 degrees, the visual image will show at least a quarter shorter than the real one.

2.            Draw lines from top to bottom along the entire contour of the hole, highlighting the internal "folds" according to the shape of the hole.

3.            Draw all the brighter lines, eliminating possible defects along the way.

4.            Choose where the light will come from and, accordingly, cast a shadow on the "inner" surface of the hole, emphasizing the roundness of the vertical corrugations.

5.            Taking into account the proposed lighting, additionally darken the diagonal of the model from bottom to top, from a solid shade to a slight "dusk" on the surface.

6.            If you want, you can draw the texture of the earth around the hole, draw cracks, stones, and grass.

You should look at the finished image at an angle along the inner crease, the dark "bottom" is closer to the viewer.

3D steps (stairs)

Stairs are an excellent object for volumetric images.

We draw:

1.            Draw a rectangle in the center of the page. This is the opening in which the steps will descend.

2.            Mark a point in the middle of the right side.

3.            Connect the auxiliary line to the upper left corner of the rectangle with the marking. This is the conditioned edge of the stairs.

4.            Draw vertically parallel from the bottom edge to the auxiliary line. The stripes should vary in width. The front of the steps is narrower than the top.

5.            Now you can form the stairs. To do this, close the wide strips parallel to the bottom edge of the mainframe with segments in the auxiliary line. Close narrow stripes at an angle to make a broken edge.

6.            Easy to shade narrow stripes.

7.            Paint the top honor of the image from the edge of the steps to the top and straight edges of the aperture. This part has an unlimited wall area.

8.            Mark a point on the right side of the figure at approximately level ¼ at the bottom edge and connect the auxiliary line with the top left corner.

9.            Some of the steps from the new line to the unlimited surface are slightly dark. Closer to the wall, put thicker shadows.

10.          Place the edges of the shadows so that there are no clear lines. The line drawing has been done.
